The Story of In The Stars Home and Body
How We Got Started...
In The Stars Home and Body was inspired and created in memory of my late son RaeQuan. As a wellness advocate, health, wellness, and natural products were of high importance in our home for nearly a decade. I was always coming up with some type of essential oil blend to diffuse, add to a vitamin capsule, or add to a lotion or cream to help with any ailments, stress, or issue that arose. RaeQuan repeatedly encouraged me (mom) to create and curate my own products due to my love of the benefits of Mango and Shea Butters, herbal blends, and Essential Oils.
RaeQuan's unforeseen passing on August 1, 2021 at the age of 25, revealed to me that the perfect time to do anything is NOW. The idea of this line was originally conceived in August of 2020 by RaeQuan and I at the beginning of our healing journey due to the sudden death of my father, his grandfather May 21, 2020, but was further nurtured and brought to fruition after the transition of Rae. In The Stars Home and Body launched on December 9th (2021), which would have been RaeQuan's 26th birthday.
Our initial and signature product is our RaeButter (Mango & shea butter blends), with scents inspired by RaeQuan, his family, and close friends. Over our first year we have continued to develop additional products for the home and body, that you would find in our home if you were to come visit RaeQuan and I in the past on any given Tuesday. To take our brand to the next level, I have taken a course on Natural Skincare Formulation to ensure that In The Stars Home and Body continues to stay current and educated to curate clean, natural, and essential small batch products that are safe for all members of your family.
